WATCH: You may need to delete data from the Clock application after installation - otherwise, the force of about principle. As always, a backup in case something goes wrong. Android Police will not be responsible for any damage to your device.
CLOCK: If you are getting an installation script, instead of updating one, it is likely that this refuses to install APK. This happens because pname of this package is com.android.deskclock, and yours is probably com.google.android.clock, so not installing as an upgrade but rather as a standalone application, not because the same name the provider has already been declared. The only way around this would be to freeze / uninstall the stock clock, so I can say, REQUIRES ROOT.
